Halloween, a time where ghost, ghouls, zombies, witches and vampires come out to play (we’re talking about kids in costumes of course!). Halloween has been a favourite holiday for many of us in Malaysia and overseas, as kids get to dress up and eat all the candy they want. So we've put together a list of kid-friendly Halloween events here so you get into the Halloween spirit and not miss out in these amazing activities!

BRICK-OR-TREAT ( Legoland Resort Malaysia)

Throughout the month of October LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort will be decked out in a spooky fun Halloween theme, complete with spooky fun activities for every ghost hunter and trick-or-treater. It is also the first time that LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort will be employing AR technology to provide a more immersive eduplay experience for the whole family! Trick-or-Treat-ers can also head straight to Knock Knock Alley where they can meet new and interesting LEGO characters, collect the best treats, and peek into brand new worlds with every door they knock on.

SPOOKY FUN FESTIVAL (KidZania Kuala Lumpur)

Get ready to thrill and Trick or Treat amidst a spooky atmosphere and brave through the horrors of The Midnight Hour Race, where a zombie clown apocalypse has taken over the city and its inhabitants, and the search for the antidote begins.

Packed with a spine-tingling line-up of activities for both kids and parents, from solving the mysteries of the zombie clown apocalypse to brewing your very own Halloween concoctions and whipping up a mummy’s lunch, KidZania Kuala Lumpur’s Spooky Fun Festival will surely leave families with a spook-tacular experience.

The Pumpkin Painting Party is a themed party where kids get to paint their own pumpkin and bring it home. All art materials are provided. It is also a themed party, where kids can dress up to the occasion and stand a chance to win a prize for best dressed. The Pumpkin Painting Party is a kid-friendly activity suitable for kids aged 5 and above.

Create your own unique Halloween Costume to impress your friends in the party! Kids 5-12 years old are welcome to join in the workshop where they get to create their very own Halloween costume. Each session is a two hour session which will cost you RM60. Materials are all included.

Fantastic October is a 3-weeks Magical Halloween festival that runs from 4th to 20th of October, held in The School and The Square located in Jaya One. There are various activities to look forward to including Mystic Arts & Magic, a Kid’s Apprentice Quest, petting zoo, science workshop and other fun games and activities.

NIGHTS OF FRIGHT 7 (Festival of Fear at Sunway Lagoon)

Strictly for age 13 and above! It’s time you embrace the darkness and prepare yourself because this frightful night is not for the faint-hearted! Happening from 4 Oct – 3 Nov (every Friday, Saturday and Sunday) from 7:30 pm to 11:30pm, Nights of Fright 7 has 8 haunted houses, a haunted theatre, two scare zones, 11 thrilling rides and two show stages for thrilling and entertaining night.

SUPERHALLOWEEN (SuperPark Malaysia)

For the whole month of October, SuperPark Malaysia welcomes everyone to join in its SuperHalloween celebrations with a line-up of friendly ghosts and ghouls, as well as countless treats and promotions to swap the spooky with excitement. Go dress in your best costume and join in their SuperHalloween Costume Competition, beat the wandering ghosts in a 1-on-1 challenge in their SuperGhost Challenge and look out for the SuperCrew decked out in Halloween costumes roaming around the park with pumpkin bag full of candies.

They’re also having a promotion where every walk-in ticket purchase in a Halloween Costume will also get an additional free ticket!
